The decision of Cremation should not limit your wishes, or options. In fact, the selection of services involving Cremation, broadens the scope to encompass almost any option you or your family wishes. Tyler M. Woods is the leader in cremation care for Jefferson City, Marshall, and the entire Central Missouri area including, but not limited too the following; Ashland, Columbia, Moberly, Macon, Boonville, Sedalia, Russellville, Eugene, St. Thomas, Meta, and Lake Ozark areas.

To ensure the highest level of dignity is met, Tyler M. Woods enforces a strict care policy. The following steps we show will help explain how the integrity of our process is never compromised, and what sets us apart from competing firms.

Prior to Cremation

  • A wrist identification band is placed on your loved one at the time we come to your home, hospital, or other care facility.

  • Once returned to the care facility, the cremation container is labeled with your loved one's name before they are placed into the secure refrigeration unit.

  • Tyler M. Woods reviews all cremation paperwork to ensure family and medical authorizations have been received and are completed correctly. - Having this personal attention to detail is a valuable feeling of comfort.

During & After Cremation

  • Your loved one is removed from the refrigeration unit and noted into a tracking logbook. The log shows the date and time of cremation, and the crematory operator's name.

  • Our crematory checklist is dated, start time noted, and signed immediately before and after the cremation takes place.

  • The crematory checklist, metal identification tag and wristband are placed on the door of the cremation chamber during the cremation process.

  • After the cremation is completed, the cremated remains are removed from the chamber and taken to the processing station and allowed to cool. The crematory checklist, metal identification tag and wristband are placed on the processing machine following the cremation process.

  • The metal identification tag corresponding to the name and other personal identifying file information from your loved one is placed into a temporary container.
